Is it possible for HCG levels to remain normal after a miscarriage? I ask because my friend is now 6 weeks + 2 days pregnant (from LMP) and has been experiencing bleeding for about a week now. She goes through 2 pads a day, and yesterday started clotting as well. However, her HCG levels have continued to double every 2 days like normal (as of yesterday).
