I'm not a physician, but I can tell you that the ingredients in Thera-flu are all considered safe during pregnancy. The ingredients listed in Theraflu are acetaminophen, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, and chlorpheniramine maleate. Acetaminophen is just plain Tylenol, which is perfectly safe throughout pregnancy. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (Sudafed) is a decongestant that most physicians consider safe in pregnancy as well. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine- it's perfectly safe and in fact is one of the two preferred antihistamines for use in pregnancy. Here's a link to an article you may be interested in for further reassurance (it's slightly technical, but the bottom line is no evidence for any fetal anomalies): http://www.fetal-exposure.org/OTC.html So you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Relax!
