I'm at the beginning of the first trimester of pregnancy and having terrible pain in my right hip. Two friends who had sciatica during pregnancy said it sounds like that to them. It seems to be in the hip only, not the whole leg. I don't go in for my first appointment for another week, but I can barely get around the house right now, can't bend or twist or sit on the floor, and have a toddler to watch, so this is a big problem. Is it possible to have sciatica this early in pregnancy? What exactly does sciatica feel like? Thanks!
