The babys head not being engaged doesnt mean you wont dilate and go into labor. Sometimes, babys dont drop till the last minute (one of my babies didnt drop till I was 8 cms). Being that your cervix is soft, and you are dilated.. a possible induction could very well work. The baby being at -3 station means s/he is pretty well up there in the uterus. All will be fine!

P.S. If you have no medical reasons to delay intercourse.. try it. It put me into real good labor with 2 child. :)
