I am 37 weeks, set for a c-section in 2 weeks. I am on day 7 of a miserable head cold. Last week I was on vacation so I could stay in bed all day however this week I am back to work and am miserable. I can't sleep at night due to the dry hacking cough. My OB said I could take NyQuil. How do you feel about that? Do you feel it's safe? She said as long as I follow the recommended dose. But I am getting up 4 - 6 times a night to go to the bathroom, will I be able to wake up to go to the bathroom if I am on NyQuil? I've never taken it before but heard it knocks one out.

I have 4 days left of work before I go on maternity leave. If I can just make it until then.....
