I'll bet you're temps will go back up tomorrow or next day. Lots of women in some cycles have a fallback temp a day or two after the temp rise, and I've had that happen a couple of times too. My progesterone levels are good, so I don't think it has any bearing on quality of ovulation. But also, I usually won't get a temp rise until 4 days from date of positive opk, so you may have had a spike from sleep disturbance or alcohol on cd16. I notice this because often times I'll have a glass of wine on the big night of the positive opk :) which results in a temp spike next a.m. that isn't my real bbt rise, because that doesn't come until a couple of days later. For example if get a +opk on cd13, my temp rise isn't usually until cd16 or 17.
