I gave birth 4 weeks ago and Im still bleeding a small amount every day. I had an ultrasound to r/o retained products of conception. The ulrtasound showed that my endometrium is 1 cm thick with "echogenic meterial" with in it. The radiologist said that it could be retained products or blood clots. My question is this normal after 4 weeks? and second question, what would be the appropriate path to take, D&C?, medication? Thank you for your help.
