I have searched the archives and other internet resources, but seem to find conflicting answers to my question. I am currently 7w 1d pregnant. I had an u/s at 5w 3d showing a fetal heart rate of 98 bpm. When I asked if this was considered low, the ultrasound tech said that since the heart had only been beating for a few days at most, it was a normal rate, and would increase in the coming weeks. However, much of what I have read suggests that a rate of under 100 in weeks 5-6 is suggestive of a likely miscarriage. Any comments would be very appreciated. Thanks.
