Heating BlanketFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 31 Dec 2001 11:00:30 -0600 (CST)
For the past three days I've been using a heating blanket rather than turning up the heat during the day. I put it on my legs while I was watching tv and last night I slept with it on my legs, (keeping it off of my stomach). I'm 19 weeks pregnant and I just read in the archives that there is some concern about the electromagnetic fields set up by the coils in these blankets. Obviously, I will discontinue using it but I'm just wondering if three days of usage is anything to be alarmed about. Thanks for your advice.
