I am 33, extremely healthy, married and have never had a UTI before and then bam, had two UTI's in a row and then an early m/c and did some research and found out about Ureaplasma. I asked to be tested for it and low and behold the cervical culture came back positive. Both my husband and i are on tetracycline. I was completely asymptomatic except for the uti's, i am now on tetracycline, only tetracycline, doxycycline, erthomyacine, and zithromax, from what ive heard, can kill this pesky, hard to culture, bacteria. Here is a link for you that has a few paragraphs on ureaplasma, it pulls up quickly and may be something you want to look into. Best regards, ann > >-- >Pam >
