Kristy,

More than likely, she is in premature labor (I had this with 2 pregnancies). She is making cervical change, but her OB isnt doing anything to stop it. I called her (the friend of mine), a little bit ago, and she is still contracting, and they are anywhere from 2-8 minutes apart. They are very sporadic according to her. She is trying to stay of her feet and drink all the water she can possibly stand. She saw me go through premature labor, it started at 26 weeks both times. She knows how scary it is, and that is exactly how she sounds on the phone.. like I did when I started having problems. In a way, I hope she gets delivered soon. I am worried for her. She is going in tomorrow for urine and bp check. That might be the deciding factor, who knows. Anyways, I want baby to stay in.. I know with each passing day it can greatly improve babys chances and its health.
