I had a c-section (my first) four months ago. After waiting the recommended 6 weeks, my husband and I had sex for the first time since pregnancy. I have never felt so much pain in my life. The pain seemed to come from inside the vagina, like about in inch in there (or less). I thought this pain would have resolved by now but it is just as bad as the first attempt. It is so maddening since I did not even have a vaginal delivery. What is this horrible pain and is there anything I can do to make it go away? With all the new changes in our life and stressors with a new baby, this is just a topper---esp. for my husband. By the way, I am breastfeeding. A close girlfriend of mine also has a four month old, is breastfeeding, had a vaginal delivery and says that sex is "wonderful." I could kill her. Please help. Wendy
