First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm pg with my 2nd, and here's what I think: sounds to me like you could certainly be feeling the first "flutters" - I know it can be easy to confuse with gas at this point. In general, gas seems to "move" across your abdomen and come out the other side. You will generally feel the baby in one spot or another at this point. As to how often - in the beginning you might notice once or twice a day. I'm now 22 weeks and feeling it regularly, but that's only been in the last week or so. Congrats!
