(I have seven children...most would say quite rfertile, even with my five losses) It sounds to me that this article was either a misrepresentation of statistics (you know the quip "there are lies, damn lies and statistics) or this writers own working through his emotions, his own rationalization for either his views or perhaps his own infertility. I would be interested in seeing statistics regarding the varied reasons for infertility and the rates for birth defects, to see if they are, indeed higher for these couples. A good source for this information would most likely be your infertility specialist. I hope you get your answers (and your baby!) soon!
