Dr. Montgomery- since you're a perinatologist, if you get a chance to respond, I'd be very appreciative. Have you seen a fair number of babies with nuchal folds this big turn out to be normal? The specialist I saw said it was ultimately up to me whether or not to get an amnio, but that he thought the risk from amnio was greater than the risk of my baby having Down's. Any opinions or insights much appreciated- thanks!
