*A targeted ultrasound done at 16 weeks is one good means of determining issues regarding fetal well-being. As to its precision, that depends on the individual performing the ultrasound.

*None that I can recall, but I am sure it happens, especially when the scans are done first by someone less skilled, followed by one done later by a specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine... Lynn
