Generally, any color change is a positive, no matter how faint, provided the control window is also working properly. The same thing happened to me with the Clearblue Easy test several months ago. I actually tested 2 days early and didn't use early morning urine either. In my case, I got an almost microscopically faint blue line that took a couple of minutes to appear. You had to look really closely to see it. When I retested a couple of days later, it was a true positive. The amount of the color change depends on the amount of HCG (pregnancy hormone) you're producing and you may just not be making much yet.
