Good morning. This is a lot easier to talk about over the computer than face to face with your doctor. lol I am 33 years old, of excellent health and weight, and i recently got married earlier in the year. Ever since then i have had 2 UTI's, whereas i have never had one before before in my life. The doctor, smiling, tells me its "honeymoonitis". The first infection 7 months ago was minor and treated easily. This last one was awful and i didnt begin to feel better til the 3 day medication was over. Anyway, what is going on is this. Nowadays out of the blue i have to go to the bathroom NOW, and i can barely make it up our stairs to the bathroom, and the other day i leaked a little. The doctors' office had me do a urinalysis a couple days ago because of this and it came back perfectly clear. So what gives? I have never had this symptom before and now that there is obviously no infection, am i stuck with this symptom? This happens several times a day, and there are no other symptoms. No burning and the amount of urine is normal. I feel like i am a 6 year old wanting to hold my pants til i get to the bathroom. And it all started when i developed this 2nd UTI. Any suggestions? I am very active in the community and i am afraid of this happening while i am out. Ive been purposely avoiding social engagements til this blows over, but this isnt going away. Appreciate any input. Best regards, Ann
