Ovulation and miscarriage...From: Amber (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 17 Dec 2001 11:33:55 -0600 (CST)
I'm a bit confused. I m/c for the second time two weeks ago at 5 1/2 weeks pg. This past Wednesday, (5 days ago) my HCG measured 132 ( a week after the last sign of spotting/bleeding occured). I had a u/s this past friday (three days ago) and my Doc. pointed out a cyst on my left ovary and suggested I was going to ovulate soon. I felt my usual "O" pains over the weekend, so my guess was that he was right, however, I didn't think my body would "O" with that amount of HCG in my blood. Is it possible to "O" so soon after a miscarriage? The u/s was exactly 10 days after I started to m/c. And I "o'd" on day 11. Is the body still able to ovulate with HCG? And if so, would it be a healthy "O"? I'm still spotting here and there, would implantation from a subsequent pg still be possible this cycle given that I'm still spotting from the m/c? Thank you-I appreciate any answers...Amber.
