Please don't attempt to break your own water. It's extremely unsafe for you and the baby. You could introduce bacteria into your vagina, which could infect you and your baby. You could also cause the cord to slip out, called a cord prolapse, if the baby's head is not engaged. Please please please, be patient and wait until the babe is ready... I know it's hard, I just had a baby myself and was pretty miserable with false labor and pelvic pressure. Hang in there!
