Thanks for the reply, Dr. Shanahan. After reading your response, I called my OB and asked if he could refer me for a Level II, but he said it wasn't indicated- told me I was being utterly ridiculous and if I wanted it, I would just have to pay it out of pocket, period (my insurance won't cover patient-requested U/S) Do you think any other OB's might agree to refer to a perinatologist given the findings I mentioned? Should I try to get in to see a different physician elsewhere, or is this the same thing any OB would say?
