31 weeks and engaged?

2nd pregnancy had pre term labor at 34 weeks...I am 31 weeks measuring 27 cm. 2 weeks ago at my 29 week I was 29cm.

I am having increased rectal pressure, bowel changes and increased back discomfort.

Everything else is normal..BP is fine 110/60 babys HR was 130 varies between 130 and 150.

Should I be concerned? At 20 weeks I had my first HSV outbreak and the MD said I was beginning to dilate and would not do an internal exam to figure out effacement because she didnt want to manipulate my cervix. This was a visualization of my cervix as I had internal lesions.

I have a *feeling* that this baby will come early..should I place any faith in it?
