Old wives' tale or truth?From: Angie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 7 Dec 2001 09:32:50 -0600 (CST)
I know this probably is old wives' tale but I still want to make sure. Will having very cold/icey drinks or washing clothes in very freezing water cause miscarriage? The reason behind this maybe that it could stimulate the uterus to contract. I would think that very hot drink may cause a problem if it raises the body temperature. Am I right? Thanks a lot!
