I just came online after being at the hosp for the same reason with other complications and can tell you in regard to the infection the same as they told me. I had called them thinking I had a Yeast infection and they told me to come in because infection is related to Premature rupture of membrains. I went in and they decribed the infection not be yeast. I have a discharge the same as you and they said a yeast infection looks like cottage cheese. (as gross as this is to talk about or think about) They did a swab just to be sure and I do not have the results back but if I were you and I am not a doctor I would be going in cause it maybe a bacterial infection or it could be something more serious and why live with the discomfort another 5 days when you could be cured by then. Hope this information helps you. I went and got some canesten external cream and it helped alot or a cold cloth till I find out, that may help.
