Another OPK Question-- two lines same shade, but very very light

When both the reference line and the test line are the exact same shade but are extremely light in color (much lighter than the reference line is a few days before ovulation) is this a positive result? I assumed the lines had to be dark and the same shade to qualify as a positive. Does any one know or has anyone expereinced this?
