hcg Levels-any need to worry? I had a 48 hour quantitative hcg and today it is 22208 from 14000. I had cultures taken, no infections and my blood is O positive,so no problems there. I had gone to see doc wednesday night, because I had an episode of brown spotting Tuesday morning when I went to the bathroom and then a streak of brown throughout the day and on Wednesday, I had a brown stain in the morning when I went to the bathroom, but it was hardly noticeable and then disappeared later in the day. No spotting since then and my doctor wants me to come back next Wednesday to check on things. She says some women are fine with not doubling in Hcg or some might miscarry. Does my level sound like a risk for miscarriage? She makes it sound like I could miscarry. Any ideas on this situation?
