If you are looking for confirmation that you are over-reacting, I think that you are (with my first pregnancy I was the same way). Is this your first pregnancy?

Don't take what I say the wrong way, and please try not to worry about every little thing. Plus, didn't one of the doctors reassure you a couple of days ago on this forum? I read most of the posts, so I remember it.

Enjoy your pregnancy. It is a special time. Besides, I don't think you risk toxoplasmosis just by petting a cat. Also, washing hands does wonders! Good for you, by the way, for rescuing the cat. My husband and I have the best rescue dog in the world.
