Re: itchy rashFrom: BR (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 29 Nov 2001 17:46:43 -0600 (CST)
Kelley, Keep a close eye on this! Your OB may want to do blood tests for liver disease and stuff, but I got a rash and was diagnosed with PUPPP, a pregnancy rash. It started on my abdomen in my stretch marks. It was very itchy, so itchy that I couldn't sleep for the scratching. Doctor finally gave me steroids (10 mg. of Prednizone tablets) to take for seven days, and that stopped the rash in its tracks. (Not right away, but the rash did go away and stayed away.) There are a lot of new problems with pregnancy, aren't there? And just think of the ones after pregnancy! LOL Take care! Beverly
