Hello, I am 13 weeks pregnant today. Had a good u/s performed last week, fetus appears healthy HR 160 BPM. I am now worried about second trimester loss. I used cervical position to help me get pregnant. I occasionally still check it, although just once a week and I thouroughly wash my hands. My cervix seems short, it is closed, but the narrow bit at the bottom doesn't seem that long. Am I correct in thinking that this is the bit measured by u/s, manual exam? or is it the whole cervix? Should I worry that it seems short? I am living overseas, so I am unable to get u/s measurement of my cervix. Thankyou for your time.
