Oops... ureaplasma is all one word :-) but I have follow-up q'sFrom: Anon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 27 Nov 2001 10:34:33 -0600 (CST)
Finally found info on this condition in archives after realizing that it was all one word! But I'm a little concerned after reading questions in archives. My Ob-gyn's nurse acted like it was not big deal and it would go away once dh and I were treated. In the archives, however, it sounds to me like having had Ureaplasma means you have to take Erythromycin once you get pregnant, and there even seems to be a correlation btw this condition and having to have a cerclage. It does not sound minor at all. Am I drawing the right conclusions? Am I going to have to take Erythromycin and/or get a cerclage if I get pregnant? I'd appreciate some clarification on this, as I am getting nervous. Thanks in advance for your answers.
