The blue lines are probably veins just like you suspect, as you get dilation of all your blood vessels in pregnancy. You also get dilation of your esophageal sphincter, the muscle that separates the esophagus from the stomach, and therefore reflux is very common in pregnancy. The hardness just may be your uterus practicing for future labor. As long as you are not having increased pelvic pressure, discharge, bleeding, copious watery discharge, this is a natural function.
