Hi. I live in an old house. Yesterday, I crawled in the crawl space to search for xmas decorations and instead found tons of mouse/rat? droppings on the furnace, where they are obviously sleeping to keep warm. I do not know if they've been in the actual house..but in the past I have found a small dropping, and so I'm guessing I've come into contact w/ it recently w/out knowing. It was obvious they have been there a while, and I am 26 weeks pregnant. For all I know, I have been living w/them for 26 weeks while pregnant!! Obviously, we'll be having someone to come out and fix this problem...but what about the harm I may ALREADY have done? An ultrasound @ 21 weeks showed a normal fetus. Am I causing birth defects? I am scared to death!!
