I keep reading posts where it is said that age is a major in getting and staying pg. I would like to know why? I know that the eggs are old and more genetic problems are likely, but how early can they cause rejection? Another thing which is documented is that older women produce less progesterone, what effect can this have on a cycle? Are there any other hormones values that are different in older women, I assume that because the balance between oestrogen and progesterone is so intimate that oestrogen is found in lower levels too?
