32 weeks and questions

I have vertical blue lines below my bellow button that last for a few inche. They look like veins. Why are they there? My doctor said that this was normal.

I wake up in the middle of the night, most nights for about 2 hours. My stomach feels hard and I think I have reflux. Is it normal to wake up in the middle of the night now and why do I do it?
