Hi Drs. I have a question regarding medrol I took about 10 mg during my pregnancy due to multiiple miscarriages and and unspecific connective tissue problem. I was weaned shortly therafter but during the weaning time I had to triple my dose (DRS>ORDERS) due to a sinus infection that I could not fight. I had absolutely no swelling during my time on the medrol until I tripled the dose. Now I have severe swelling underneath my eyes...lower lids. My rhuematologist said this isn't from the medrol however it did not happen until I tripled my dose. I am devasted at how I look right now. I am now completely off the medrol for three weeks and there is no improvement in the swelling. I also have swelling in my lower face. Will the eyelid swelling ever go away?? And what about the face??? I thought it would be gone by now. THe eyelid swellling is most bothersome to me..Please help!!! Anyone else experience this out there who has been on steriods during their pregnancies.
