-ve test 19 weeks pgFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 21 Nov 2001 08:06:05 -0600 (CST)
Hi there and congratulations, I was wondering whether any of the docs have an explanation for this, I know that it isn't supposed to be possible to have a period and be pg, but is it possible that low progesterone levels can allow menstruation without the entire lining being lost? Also is hcg actually produced this far along in pg, I have a feeling that another hormone takes over. Also lots of ladies post about progesterone supplementation and low hcg levels, but this pg is at 19weeks already. Could I just ask the poster if there was any difference in her periods apart from length...did you still get pain and did they arrive on time? You see I have an appointment to see my g.p. because of similar issues, I did have a +ve test back in April but since then all _ve, my clothes are getting tight around the waist, I am putting weight on for no reason, 7lb up to now, and I feel movement...
