Is it possible to ovulate 3 days after an hcg shot or does it always happen within 36 hours? I got positive lh surge 2 days after the hcg shot, but not earlier. I wonder if that positive result means it wasn't picking up the hcg as Dr. Marchbein sugggested, but in fact was picking up the real lh surge. Is that possible? I had iui's timed for one day after the shot and three days after the shot. I am hoping the second iui wasn't pointless.
