I have been keeping in the shaddows for a while as I am early pregnant (almost 11weeks) and I just feel like I need to remain largely anonymous. However, i feel like I need to respond to your post. I for one do not think that you are irresponsible or that you take your decision to induce lightly. For what it is worth (And I am a cardiac nurse not ob/gyn) I think that you are being very responsible. I hope that you have found some support on this board, and that most of your encounters have been good ones. People will always have differing opinions and come from different viewpoints, ultimately human life is unique and therefore every situation linked to it is unique. I for one have interests in natural childbirthing techniques, but that is what it is, ultimately, If my child was in any danger I would not hesitate and have a caesarian etc...Gee I wouldn't even be here without them...I was born via caesarian section. I guess, what I am trying to say is that you shouldn't feel persecuted or oppressed because you will be enduced or for any other reason...you are obviously listening to your body (whether or not this is based on past experience). Please stick around on this forum... wishing you an uneventful, happy birth.
