I am 25 weeks pregnant after 3 m/c. I was at a birthday party on Sun where I found our afterwards one of the kids had fifth disease. Apparently the kid had already been treated with medication and was off school for a few days that week but apparently had been back at school since. She was coughing at the party and the day before had a fever. Other kids at the party were exposed to here prior to diagnosis. I have since had an Ig and Im bloodtest. I don't know if I am immune.

My questions are: Can this be treated with medication? If so what? And what are the risks of this in pregnancy?

Could the child still have been contagious?
