Ectopic pregnancyFrom: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 12 Nov 2001 11:44:54 -0600 (CST)
I had a healthy baby in 1998, discovering septum during pregnancy. I lost my second baby in December of 2000 when I was 8 1/2 MONTHS pregnant. (They don't know for sure why, maybe IUGR due to the placenta being attached to part of the septum and LACK of monitoring during pregnancy by OB. My third pregnancy ended 2 weeks ago at 8 weeks along due to an ectopic. The Dr. said he didn't know why. I had emergency surgery and due that he said he saw some scar tissue in my tube. WHAT CAN CAUSE THIS? I don't have endometreosis, never an ectopic or previous surgeries. I was still on zoloft from depression of losing my last baby and weaned myself off as soon as I was 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Also about 1 week after conception I had bronchitis and the Dr. gave me Zithromax. I told them it was a possibility of being pregnant just so the medication wouldn't harm the baby. Could that have been the cause. When would the embryo implant in the tube after conception. I feel so much guilt and anger at myself for losing these babies and am trying to find out if I am doing something wrong.
