Most RE's will do injectables before IVF if nothing has been found wrong
with your tubes or hubby's sperm. I would go for a second opinion.
American Infertility Association has a great website and you can post on
their message board and ask for an RE in your area. Also, they have
very reputable RE's that answer questions like on this board. Having
researched a lot about infertility, it sounds like your RE is jumping
the gun. A good RE will monitor you on injectibles and it is rare to
have more than twins or triplets (which is also the norm with IVF).
