Joni - I am also 11 weeks and had the same thing the other day except only the right side. I was concerned so I called my MD's office and the nurse said most likely it was the ligaments around my uterus stretching. She had me come in anyway and she listened for the baby's heartbeat (first time I heard it!), and all seems fine. The pains lasted about 8 hours and were sort of intermittent. Hope this is the same thing you're experiencing - good luck and congrats!! TDV
