I am twelve weeks pregnant today. For the last two days I have had some brown spotting without any abdominal pain or cramping. I was able to hear the heartbeat yesterday with a doppler and I am just wondering if I am starting to miscarry. What would be the cause of spotting at this stage of pregnancy? Should I contact my doctor? Thanks
