Hi. I am currently experiencing my second m/c in 6 mos. With the first, a h/b was seen at 8w6d, but a follow-up u/s at 12 wks showed growth had stopped at 9w3d and there was no h/b. I had a d&c. With this m/c, I started staining at the start of my 8th wk and an u/s showed a blighted ovum. Today, the m/c started in earnest with the blood just pouring out at some points (sorry for the graphic language). It seems to be slowing some now. Hcg was 8200+/- last Friday. My questions are these:

1. How long does bleeding usually last when you m/c naturally?

2. How long before I can expect my hcg levels to go to zero with a level of 8200?

3. I am 40 with 2 healthy kids, a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old. With both of these m/c'd pgs, I got pg on the fifth cycle of trying. I know that is somewhat unusual given my age, but is it any indicator that I will be able to conceive again?
