Dr. M- A sono WAS done both times. On Mon at OB's office we clearly saw baby head down. 4 days later, on BPP sono -- baby was clearly head up, feet down. Before this baby had gone from head down to transverse. Seems to be a spinning top in there. Last Level I sono 2 weeks ago (38 weeks) puts EFW at 8 lbs 2 oz and by feel OB says this is a big baby. I just don't understand how he/she can maneuver in there if EFW is accurate. In any event, if sono shows baby breech tomorrow my instinct tells me schedule a c-section despite my qualms. I have read archives about footling breech and do not wish to take any chances. I guess my dilemna arises if baby is once again head down -- do I wait to go into labor and hope he stays that way or risk labor, find out breech and then have to have emergency c-section. I REALLY do not want that if it means general anesthesia, missing my baby's birth, and my husband is not alloed to be there.

Blood sugars were controlled by diet. All fastings have always been in mid 80's and 1 hour breakfast, dinner wer generally below 130. For whatever reason, lunch usually ran high no matter what was on the menu (eg even with only protein). I think the concern with insulin was that even with high #'s after lunch (150 or 160) one hour later it was well below 120 -- and insulin would have pushed it much lower, much faster into a reaction. Would such blood sugars have any effect on the outcome of a c-section however? Thank you for your time.
