I was late starting my new pack of bcp. I started them a week later than I should have. The same time I started them I had unprotected sex. I only took about 1 1/2 wks of the pills because I read if I am pg continuing to take them could hurt. Because I stop the pills I expect my period in the next day or two. My question is can I take a hpt if I don't get my period in a day or two or do I have to wait until it would have shown up if I continued my pills (another week).
