'morning' sickness - am i eating enough to sustain the pregnancy?From: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 1 Nov 2001 15:37:46 -0600 (CST)
Hello, I am currently almost 9 weeks pregnant. For the past few weeks i have had 'morning' sickness, except mine ranges from evening sickness to transient all day sickness. I have only vomitted on about 6 occasions, but almost all foods make me gag, and I have a constant sickly feeling acccompanied by headaches. I am NOT MOANING as I feel reassured that my hormones are probably ok. I had an u/s last week which showed a live fetus with a strong good heartbeat. However, as I am only eating rice pudding, toast and cereal and fruits (the only things I can stomach) will my baby be ok? I also am able to stomach my prenatal vitamins for the greatest part! Are the odds that my baby will be ok on this diet?, I try to eat more, but I just vomit if I do, Thanks for any advice,
