Vein damage from lots of bloodwork?

I know this probably seems like a crazy question. Just wondering if any serious damage can be done to the veins with all the repeated testing done in the infertility offices. During medicated cycles, I sometimes have blood drawn 8-9 times during a month. Often, the veins don't even have time to heal before the next time. My arms are bruised, and often hurt. Anyone know?
