Hi Michelle,
Well I'm not a doctor but from what I've read I don't believe that lack
of progesterone in early pregnancy is a cause for abnormalities in an
otherwise healthy pregnancy. Lack of progesterone may, however, cause a
miscarriage. If that pregnancy test that you took was a positive then I
would definitely say that your HCG is rising. Unfortunately, all you
can do is wait at this point, and I know that 's the hardest part, Keep
in mind that the silver lining in all of this is that you DID become
pregnant, so it will happen for you, it's just a matter of time.
Whatever the outcome of this pregnancy, you should keep that thought
with you. Best of luck and hang in there.
