My 17 week ultrasound showed that the baby (one of twins)may have echogenic bowel. It is a perfectly round spot inside the baby - the outer ring is bright but the inside is dark. The doctor said that they are thinking it might be echogenic bowel but they've never seen anything like this before. Has anyone had such an experience? We did not do the amnio because of the risk - we've had chromosome studies in the past that have been fine.
